We are pleased to announce the passing of the Camp Lejeune Justice Act which we expect will
be signed by President Biden tomorrow. This is a unique legislation opening the North
Carolina federal court to veterans, their families, and base workers who were exposed to base
drinking water between 1953 and 1987. All potential governmental defenses are eliminated, and
the statute of limitations and repose will be waived. We are co-counseling with a firm in Onslow
County with an office several miles from the base. The Act does not currently contain a settlement
plan, “qualifying” injuries, or settlement fund. However, this will evolve in the future. We are
investigating cases where there was at least 30-day exposure and one of these or similar
conditions:

- Aplastic anemia and other myelodysplastic syndromes
- Bladder cancer
- Kidney cancer
- Liver cancer
- Multiple myeloma
- Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
- Parkinson’s disease
