Thomas Giuffra, a partner in our firm has been appointed as an associate justice for Scarsdale, NY, a town and village located in Westchester County.
Giuffra has garnered many honors and accolades over a legal career spanning 30 years this year. He has been a tireless advocate for those injured by the negligence of others, particularly those who have been sexually assaulted or abused.
The Associate Village Justice serves in the absence or incapacity of the Village Justice.
The term of the Associate Village Justice is one year, beginning April 01, 2024. The Associate Justice may be reappointed for additional one-year periods. The Scarsdale court handles approximately 5,000 cases a year, ranging from criminal matters to civil matters involving landlord/tenant disputes, as well as traffic citations.
